Historic Taisho-Era Kominka in Kitahiroshima Town
This is a historic kominka (traditional Japanese house) originally built in the Taisho era. The structure is robust, with extensive use of chestnut wood for pillars and foundations. The property retains its charming character throughout. Please note there is a water leak in the kitchen ceiling requiring repair, and the property is sold as-is, with any furnishings to be removed by the buyer.
The main house was constructed in 1917 (Taisho 6), the shed in 1954 (Showa 29), and the warehouse in 1979 (Showa 54). The area experiences significant snowfall in winter. Road access is maintained with snow removal services, and the property is located outside of any sediment disaster warning zones.
