Japan's Minpaku Law (住宅宿泊事業法, enacted June 2018) allows homeowners to rent properties to tourists for short stays. Local governments can impose additional restrictions.

Special Zone (Tokku)

365 days/year. National Strategic Special Zones (like parts of Osaka and Tokyo) allow year-round short-term rentals with no day limit. Minimum stay: 2 nights.

Allowed (Standard) This property
