Mountain Woodland Parcel in Hamamatsu's Tenryu District
This property is a small mountain woodland located in the Tsuki settlement of Hamamatsu City's Tenryu District, Shizuoka Prefecture. The parcel is situated about 30 meters up a walking path from the site of an elementary school that closed 60 years ago. The land was formerly a tea plantation and features a very gentle south-facing slope. A portion of the land has cedar and hinoki cypress trees, but the majority consists of a sparse forest of bamboo and various deciduous trees. The southern side of the property adjoins an important local shrine. Commercial use such as operating a campground, installing kilns, or raising animals is not permitted. The land is suited for enjoying tree planting or as a private camping site. Currently, the southern side is lined with cedar and hinoki trees, resulting in relatively poor sunlight. Connection to utility electricity and water supply lines is not possible.
Access to the property involves traveling 3 km north from the central Tenryu district along National Route 152, turning left before the Funakira Tunnel, and following the prefectural road along the right bank of the dam lake for another 3 km. This route leads to the lakeside Tsuki settlement, which comprises around 20 households. The land area is 558 square meters (approximately 168.79 tsubo). The property is classified as forest land with a current use of mountain woodland. It is located outside of any city planning area. The nearest major road access is 12.5 km from the Shin-Tomei Expressway's Hamamatsu Hamakita Interchange, and 9 km from Futamata-Honmachi Station on the Tenryu Hamanako Railway.
