Yoriguchi Bridge (Yoriguchi-bashi) is a stone arch bridge located in Kitagawauchi, Jōyō-machi, Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Completed in 1920 (Taisho 9), this double-arched stone bridge spans 42.05 meters with an arch span of 16.5 meters and a width of 4.0 meters. The bridge is finished beautifully using Aso tuff stone from Ikoma.
Since its construction, Yoriguchi Bridge has withstood numerous major floods. In 1970 (Showa 45), to adapt to the increasing automobile traffic, both sides of the bridge were widened and sidewalks were added. The surrounding area is also a famous spot for fireflies. Adjacent to the bridge is the 'Hotaru to Ishibashi no Kan' (Firefly and Stone Bridge Hall), where visitors can enjoy meals, and the soft serve ice cream is particularly popular.
