Seaside Traditional House in Nanao, Ishikawa
This property is a wooden traditional construction house built approximately 50 years ago, located in Uomachi, Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It is a complex of the original building, an extension, and a warehouse from when a Buddhist altar business was operated. The building appears to have been expanded over time to make full use of the site. Despite the complex floor plan, the structure largely survived the earthquake, sustaining only semi-collapse level damage, likely due to the abundance of walls. However, some gaps in the roof have led to leaks. Most water-related fixtures and equipment are unusable. The structural frame of the extension shows minimal tilting (less than 10mm/1000mm in pillars and floor), and the original building's pillars are not tilted, with floor tilt at 5mm/1000mm. The property can be made usable by repairing the roof leaks, equipment, and interior defects. The property includes parking and is connected to city water, public sewer, Hokuriku Electric Power, and propane gas. The nearest station is Noto Railway Anamizu Station, approximately 60 minutes by car. The area is classified as a urbanization promotion area with a neighborhood commercial zoning.
