How to Request More Properties in Any Area of Japan

Can't find enough listings in your target area? Akiya Japan's Coverage Request feature lets you tell us exactly where you want more properties — and we'll go find them.

When you hit the end of your search results — or a search returns fewer than 20 listings — a banner appears offering to expand coverage in that area. One click, and we go find more.

How It Works

  1. You search — browse properties in your target area using the search or map view.
  2. You request — when results are thin or you reach the last page, click "Request More Properties."
  3. We research — an AI agent searches for new listing websites, akiya banks, and municipality pages covering your area.
  4. New sources get crawled — any sites we weren't already tracking get added to our crawler.
  5. You get notified — first an acknowledgment email, then a results email showing how many new properties were found.

This isn't a suggestion box. Every request creates a tracked task that gets worked on.

Smart Deduplication

You're limited to one request per area per 24 hours. If someone else has already requested the same area within the past week, your request piggybacks on the existing research — no wasted effort. Popular areas get prioritised naturally.

Tips

  • Be specific — "Nagano, Matsumoto" is more actionable than a broad national search.
  • Set up a Search Alert — you'll be notified automatically as new listings from expanded coverage arrive.
  • Give it a few days — new sources take 3-5 days to crawl and process.

No extra cost. No forms. Just a direct line from what you need to what we go find.
